Let me just say that I have learned and gained so much from just the business side of this corporation. This internship has proven to me that I can hang with the big boys and still be grounded and level-headed. I also proved to myself that the sky is the limit for me if I keep moving strong, keep meeting people and stay current with the politics. I can be whoever and whatever I want to be.
Not only does my mentor show me what it takes to be a good host but he has been really showing me the behind the scenes action and what he does on a daily basis. I feel like he is teaching me so much so in case I do become a radio host I know how to conduct an interview and what to say and not to say on the air. Also I have the best of both worlds because if it’s not my time to shine yet I can always be an assistant producer or producer of my own show and ideas. As I said before sky really is the limit in this building it’s all about how hard you can hustle. Covino and Rich have been great guys and really understanding. I have never gotten one selfish remark from those two gentlemen. With all the crazy things they say over the air those two are probably your most down to earth people. The people I have met around those two have been LEGENDARY and brand new artists on the rise and that just motivates me and inspires me to keep going hard! I am still learning and still making mistakes but I always learn from my mistakes. Nobody is perfect in this industry or this world so we can only critique ourselves and better ourselves for a brighter tomorrow.
